This web site is a short summary of the book printed in April 2009 concerning the Starck family. This book is part of a the 3 volumes dedicated to Starck, Reynaud de Belleville and Samanos between 1820 and 1930.

The common point between these three families is Louise Isabelle Prudence Reynaud de Belleville. Born in Cuba in 1820, she will get 6 children from a first mariage with a french colonist: Benjamin Starck. After his death, she will marry Auguste Samanos and will have three additional children.

This book is a summary of the thousend of letters that Leda (nickname of Louise Isabelle Prudence Reynaud de Belleville) has kept during her live. All these letters have been found in August 2006, in the Samanos's house, located in South West of France, house which is from 1668, and which is belonging to the family since 2 centuries. Village name is Bidache.
